Project requirements
Mine specification, IVMS and driver fatigue management systems are available on request. The data sheet lists no ROPS; discuss another configuration if your site requires rollover protection.
Is the Fuso Shogun tray the same length as the other 8×4 combos?
The Shogun has a listed 7 m tilt tray. The Volvo FMX, Hino 700 and UD Quon sheets list 7.5 m trays. All four list a 10 t payload. Compare your load dimensions as well as mass, and confirm usable tray space for the allocated truck.
What lifting capacity is listed for the Fuso Shogun?
The published figures are 4,000 kg at 4 m, 2,600 kg at 6 m, 1,900 kg at 8 m and 1,500 kg at 10 m. They describe the crane’s lifting capacity at those reach points. The 10 t tray payload is a separate transport specification.
Is this Fuso Shogun supplied with ROPS?
The linked Shogun data sheet states ROPS: No. If your project requires rollover protection, raise that requirement with CST Hire before selecting a truck. The Volvo FMX and UD Quon combo sheets list ROPS as included, while the Hino 700 lists it as available.
Which crane model is fitted to the Shogun?
The data sheet gives lifting capacities but does not name a crane manufacturer or model. Ask CST Hire to identify the crane fitted to the allocated vehicle and provide its current load chart when discussing the lift.
What loading equipment is included with the 7 m tray?
The published specification includes a tilt tray, winch, container pins and air bag suspension. Provide the intended loading method and load dimensions with your enquiry. The presence of a winch or container pins does not by itself confirm suitability for a particular item.
