A crane tilt truck combines a truck-mounted crane with a tilting tray and winch. This gives the vehicle both lifting and tilt-tray loading equipment. The appropriate loading method depends on the item, its weight and dimensions, the crane chart and the available space at the site.

The range shown here includes a 6×4 Fuso FN Fighter and four 8×4 combos: Volvo FMX, Hino 700, Fuso Shogun and UD Quon. Each has its own specification page and enquiry link. The UD page separates its two published crane configurations.

The 6×4 Fuso lists a 7 m tray and 9 t payload. The 8×4 Fuso Shogun lists a 7 m tray and 10 t payload. The Volvo FMX, Hino 700 and UD Quon each list a 7.5 m tray and 10 t payload. Provide load dimensions and weight so the allocated vehicle can be checked.

No. Payload is the listed carrying capacity of the truck. Crane lifting capacity is specified separately and changes with reach. Check the individual truck’s crane table, then confirm the allocated crane’s current load chart and your lifting requirements with CST Hire.

The current data sheets list ROPS as included on the 6×4 Fuso, Volvo FMX and UD Quon. The Hino 700 lists ROPS as available, while the Fuso Shogun lists no ROPS. Include your site specification in the enquiry so the required equipment can be confirmed.
