Why does the UD Quon page show two crane tables?
CST Hire’s UD Quon data sheet lists both a Ferrari 7183 and a Palfinger PK19001 SLD5 configuration. They are alternative crane specifications, not two cranes fitted to one truck. Confirm which configuration is available for your hire before assessing the lift.
How do the UD’s crane capacities differ at 12 m?
At 12 m, the Ferrari 7183 table lists 1,000 kg and the Palfinger PK19001 SLD5 table lists 1,200 kg. Both list 2,000 kg at 8 m. Compare the complete table for the allocated crane and use its current load chart for lift planning.
What tray size and payload are listed for the UD Quon?
The UD sheet lists a 7.5 m tilt tray, 10 t payload and 27,500 kg GVM. The tray specification includes a winch and container pins. Provide your load dimensions, total weight and loading method so CST Hire can confirm the allocated truck’s suitability.
Does the UD Quon specification include rollover protection?
Yes. The published specification lists ROPS, along with a bull bar, UHF radio, a reverse beeper, a revolving light and a fire extinguisher. IVMS, fatigue management equipment and mine specification can be requested to match project requirements.
Can I request a particular crane on the UD truck?
The quote button preselects the 8×4 UD crane/tilt truck. Add Ferrari 7183 or Palfinger PK19001 SLD5 in the vehicle notes if you require a particular configuration, together with load weight and reach. CST Hire will need to confirm the crane on the vehicle offered.
